Why is there an ad on my copyright free video? civvie 5/28/12 2:37 PM Uploaded this today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJv0M6VALvY&feature=youtu.be We shot the video ourselves and wrote and recorded the music ourselves. Why has an ad been placed on it?
Re: Why is there an ad on my copyright free video? JDoors 5/28/12 3:05 PM I don't see any ads, no yellow marker for an in-video ad, no "buy now" ad, nothing.
Re: Why is there an ad on my copyright free video? civvie 5/28/12 4:12 PM Weird. I've checked on two different computers and it shows a yellow line in video ad.
Re: Why is there an ad on my copyright free video? JDoors 5/28/12 5:11 PM It must be a country-specific thing then (I'm in the U.S.). If someone claimed it and they are wrong, file the appeal or counter-notice: YouTube › Help articles › What Does a Copyright Strike or Content ID Match Look Like? - click here YouTube › Help
Re: Why is there an ad on my copyright free video? civvie 5/29/12 2:07 AM Thank you. The song had triggered the copyright claim. It is invalid because we own all the rights and publishing. I have filed a claim that it is invalid. Thanks for the information! Aaron
Re: Why is there an ad on my copyright free video? civvie 5/29/12 2:16 AM Also, strangely, the claim was dropped instantly! Either they actually reviewed it and acknowledged it is in illegitimate in 30 seconds, or it was done automatically. If it was done automatically then these copyright claims must be filed automaticall
