A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle m.car 9/8/11 3:24 AM First of all: I really like the new style iGoogle, now it really fits the new design. But a few things: - It is not possible anymore to click on the title of a gadget to get to the home page of that gadget (I used to get to the full Gmail page, when
Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle Viliem 9/8/11 6:14 AM I have the same problem in Firefox version 3.6, 4, 5, 6 and 7 beta on Win 7 (x86 and X64)
Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle Bioscache2 9/8/11 7:57 AM I also have this problem and it's very frustrating.  When I click it just goes to grab and move it rather than opening the homepage.  Please fix this.
Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle Larry Mac 9/8/11 12:22 PM I found that if I click somewhere in between the "a" and "i" in Gmail, it will load Gmail in a new tab like it always used to.  There is a similar "secret location" on the other gadget titles. Horrible horrible bug, and hard to believe this new layou
Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle Tamara....S 9/8/11 9:05 PM Sucks the search field is off center and some of the themes no longer work properly.  I am done with both using Google as a home page and creating themes.  Such a pain in the butt!!!!!!
Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle togooornottogoo 9/9/11 9:43 AM Same inconvenience.  Clicking a gadget title does not link to its site. Now I have to right click and select one from options “open link in new tab, new window...” in two steps. Before it was one step “click” or “ctrl (shift) + click”. Time-wise it i
Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle Sara H. 9/9/11 11:22 AM Hi, We've identified the issue described here and it should be fixed. If you're still clicking on the Gmail gadget and it's not opening on one click, let me know. Clicking on the title of a gadget should bring you to the homepage for that gadget.
Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle Larry Mac 9/9/11 11:44 AM For GMail, it seems to be fixed. Weather, BBC and NY Times titles don't even display a pointer to allow clicking, they only give a cross-hairs (four-pointed arrow, whatever you call it)  for moving the gadget. Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle m.car 9/9/11 12:04 PM After changing my theme back and forth, it seems to be fixed for most gadgets. Getting the same error as Larry Mac for the weather gadget.

Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle Sara H. 9/9/11 1:48 PM Thanks for reporting back. I'll look into the weather gadget. Changing the theme like m.car did should help for the other gadgets. Also, please try clearing cache and cookies. If you're not sure how to do that, check out the instructions in the art
Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle m.car 9/9/11 1:55 PM I just checked again... Is that supposed to be like t
Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle Larry Mac 9/9/11 1:55 PM Grrrrr, it's 2011, we've had browsers with cookies for nearly 20 years, when will "clear your cache and cookies" stop being the answer for everything? Cache, maybe.  Cookies - no way, I've got information stored in them that makes my daily web use ea
Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle Em Maginn 9/10/11 8:14 AM Hi Sara, I have been designing an iGoogle page but not submitted it yet- so here are my questions about the new look, which, btw, I love. Is there a new theme_template.xml?  I hope it gives me control over the little blue plus boxes in the gadgets, t
Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle bluequoll 9/10/11 3:59 PM Em Maginn: I think you need to wait a while before you finalize your theme design. The iGoogle "New Look" is not available for all browsers, so right now you'd have to design your theme to look right in both old and new versions. Also, the reposition

Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle prchohan 9/13/11 12:34 PM Great new layout....many thanks to the iGoogle team (and SaraH for responding to everything quickly!)  I have five tabs on iGoogle (all with news/blogs feeds) and since switching to the new layout, refresh and layout is sometimes not consistent. Re: A few bugs I found in the new look iGoogle Sara H. 9/13/11 12:58 PM Villiem and prchohan, Clearing cache should fix the problem but sounds like it's not. Could you please answer a few questions so I could try and reproduce your problem? 1. What browser are you using? 2. Have you tried another browser. Same issue th
