|I continue to unsubscribe to feeds, yet they keep coming back. I think it is isolated to the google follow.||Leah A.||11/15/11 12:15 PM|
Multiple times I have unsubscribed to feeds by using the little drop down to the right of the feed name. I click unsubscribe and reader changes to state I am not subscribed to this feed...great! success....NOT. later it will come back showing I have unread items. I was successful a while back removing some permanently, then I did another overhaul. Then i changed to the new reader...then they ALL came back again. Now each day I have tried to unsubscribe to them yet SOME keep returning. Please help. Thanks

Is 'Show followed blogs from Blogger.' checked or not checked in Reader Settings ?
Unfollow them from your Blogger Dashboard (Reading List) , or via the individual blogs.

I've unsubscribed via blogger before and the spam blog still comes back somehow. Is there a way to flag the blog as spam or something?

I'm having the same problem, and it's making me CRAZY!! The reason I unsubscribed from that particular page in the first place is because they publish sooooooo many posts, it's impossible to keep up. I decided to follow them on Facebook instead, so I can pop in when I want to see what's up.
I come over to Reader a few times a day and often have hundreds of new posts, only to find it's them again. I've tried unsubscribing from within settings and in the subscription window, but they keep coming back. I even tried going to their website to see if there was a way to unsubscribe from there, but no such luck. Helllllllp! :(

Pushing unsubscribe does nothing.
Tutorials and help boards just say to do the same thing that doesn't work. I've been finding the same problem from a year ago. Looks like google doesn't care?

I'm having the exact same problem, and I've heard from several other people on G+ that they're experiencing similar issues.

I checked my settings, and "Show followed blogs from Blogger" was checked. I just unchecked it. Will see tomorrow if my unsubscribed blogs show up again.

Same problem as yours... Here is the French description of this problem (posted few days ago):
I keep reading here & hope Google will soon give us an answer :-)

It doesn't seem to matter how I try to unsubscribe, it doesn't work

I am having this same issue. I have tried to unsubscribe at least 4 different different times in the past week w/ multiple blogs and they repeatedly come back. It works for about a day then all of a sudden all of the unfollowed blogs are back. I did it through settings & through individual blogs. The box is checked to show followed blogs as well. It is getting annoying, as their posts are just cluttering up my feed.

I've had the same problem for months. I was using Google Reader on Chrome. Now, I've just tried unsubscribing and editing my subscriptions using Internet Explorer (!) and it's working. It should work with other browsers too, like Firefox. It's just too bad Google disregards this issue on their own browser. Hope it works. :)

God Bless you Andreea that definately solved my problem (I used Firefox)!! I don't know why I didn't think of that.....

I've been having the same issue. Drives me nuts! Now with Reader shutting down I'm looking for an alternative. I like Feedly best, but it's doing the SAME thing (since it's pulling my Reader data). Has anyone found a solution for this? (Other than using a different browser.)

Finally, it seems to work with Windows 8/ Chrome... but I can't explain why.

@Emily -- try "The Old Reader" it's better than Feely imo
