|Which do people prefer: "ebuddy XMS" or "HandcentSMS"???||Harrisre1||7/27/12 2:43 AM|
Am looking to upgrade my texting experience (be able to know when text sent and when received, for basics) Also, most important, want to send and receive unlimited andor free texts (over and above limit imposed by Verizon plan) over internet or otherwise - What recommendations do people have? If choice is between eBuddy XMS or HandcentSMS, which would you choose and why?

eBuddy XMS requires sending your address book to their servers and your friends also have to have their client.
THIS IS NOT FOR ME!!
I personally use Google Voice Mobile App to send and receive SMS messages to any US and Canada number (as data), for free, and no special clients or accounts are needed by the other party. Just be sure to give out the GV number instead of your Verizon number.
