|Is there any way to have multiple users all access the same "my maps" account?||Philo61||6/12/12 10:10 AM|
We have a ranch brokerage company and create a new map in "my maps" for each property. I'm trying to be able to add each property under the "my maps" for each of the various agents in our company. Is there any way to have multiple users all access the same "my maps" account? Alternatively, is there any way to send multiple maps to the agents so they don't have to add each property individually. Many of them just use the "my maps" feature on Android tablets and don't use the web version at all.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
We create all our maps in Google Earth and then import them into Google Maps, so there may be a way to have everyone access my maps from Google Earth. Just another thought.

You can give them the username and password for the account where the custom map was created, but unless you use that Google account for nothing else than editing the map it is probably not a good idea.
You could send invitations to the other people to collaborate with the editing of your map, they would do so from their own account.

Well if you are creating a KML, and importing into Google Maps.
Just give each person the KML file, and they can import it into their own My Maps area. The web interface will have to be used to actully do the import.
