(still in Chrome) When I'm using the personal account, and not hosting, I don't get dropped. I can try with a different browser at the next op

I use hangouts globally with folks from all sorts of internet connection challenges (I teach English to speakers of other languages).  Some of their drops are expected due to infrastructure
