The connection to the server failed. dj69 3/13/12 11:53 AM Same issue, NOT using google apps (just "regular" gmail accounts), and have a spare iphone to test against as well, have multiple gmail accounts, problem is with only one gmail account and not the others.  All of them are setup using exchange via m.g

The connection to the server failed. mikeymike1982 4/13/12 9:42 AM Has anyone found a resolution to this?  I'm using Google Apps, and some have indicated that you need the paid version for google sync to work, but most say that is not the case.  I also have tried both settings for enabling google sync in google apps
Re: Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server failed. Krakhen 4/24/12 5:38 PM Be sure to check that there are no emails stuck in the account's outbox especially if they have large attachments. Check this in any mobile client where your account is setup. Google locks your account if there is an offending(too big) message stuck
