Google Earth with no earth Fusselfan 10/5/09 11:21 AM I have installed GE on Ubuntu 9.04, 64-bit. The graphic is nvidia, driver 185.18.36. The window, where must be the earth, is totally black, nothing to see.
Re: Google Earth with no earth tobox 10/27/09 8:13 AM I have exactly the same problem, Debian testing, 64-bit, nvidia driver 185 (from debian unstable). Since the problem has not been reported very often, I guess the problem is related to 64bit + nvidia 185. Any help is appreciated.
Re: Google Earth with no earth Fusselfan 10/31/09 1:53 PM With nvidia 190.42 it works perfectly.
Re: Google Earth with no earth tobox 11/5/09 11:29 AM I was missing the 32-bit version of nvidia-glx. After manually installing nvidia-glx-ia32, everything works like a charm.
