Re: How would you describe Google Drive to a new user? WayTooManyUsernames 6/24/12 9:37 AM One word: confusing. Two words: completely confusing. While I use GDrive (and every other service that offers free on-line storage) I am baffled by Google's lack of intergration of its own services (Picasa, Music/Play, G+, G drive, GApps, etc). Google
Re: How would you describe Google Drive to a new user? WayTooManyUsernames 6/24/12 2:20 PM Or, to put in another way.  I think Google's free services are worth exactly what they charge for them: nothing. If Google ever managed to integrate them into one package, not only would I use them (I mean use them more than just a free archiving se
Re: How would you describe Google Drive to a new user? BigMcGuire 6/26/12 3:10 PM Exactly, I'm a long time Google fan. Loved Android, Gmail, Docs, Voice, etc... I'm an IT guy as well as a software developer and TONS of people come to me for advice. If someone came to me asking me about Google Drive, I'd have to tell them: "Want to
Re: How would you describe Google Drive to a new user? WayTooManyUsernames 6/27/12 9:47 AM I keep waiting for Google to tie-it-all-together.  They have so many 'nice' (& free) services.  I would really LOVE to use Google as my on-line environment for all things digital.  As mentioned, I'd even be willing to pay for the integrated Google se
Re: How would you describe Google Drive to a new user? pbft 6/28/12 4:32 AM For Docs users: Drive gives you the ability to create, access and modify MS Office and other non-Google format documents directly on your PC, and the changes sync automagically to the cloud. You get all the benefits of document sharing and backup wit

Re: How would you describe Google Drive to a new user? NealC20 7/13/12 12:13 PM It's a great cloud storage network plus Google Docs, so you can create, edit, share, and store all in the same place on your own terms. The sharing capabilities are great and allow you to forgo the traditional email attachment or flash drive (forever

Re: How would you describe Google Drive to a new user? jta1954 7/23/12 1:31 AM It is a good and cheap way to store your files online.
