Connie, Don't know if this will help you, but we "fixed" ours by discovering that we were opening Google Chrome directly, instead of the old page accessed by opening Internet Explorer. It is a new computer, so some things did not look like we expecte |

I had the same problem with the favorites bar. To fix your favorites bar, right-click the tools icon in the far upper right corner and make sure there is a check mark beside the favorites bar. that should enable the same bar you had on your old homep |

To get to the homepage you set up in IE or Firefox, you need to change your homepage to http://google.com/ig in the options menu under the Tools menu (the wrench). This will reset your homepage to the one you set up as long as you are signed into goo |

Go to the wrench (tools) icon and click on "options". In options go to "basics" and find "open to". Unclick the new tab and click "open to this page" where you will fill in the address for the page you want. It works. |

favourites have always been called "bookmarks" in Chrome.If you had something called favourites I'd guess you had an addon to Chrome or were looking at a web page with "favourites" |

I was frustrated by this too. You can get your old favorites by clicking on tools on the upper right corner. Select bookmarks, import bookmarks and setting and then just import them. :) Hope this helps. Sorry, don't know how to go back to the old vrs |

to get your Favorites from internet explore your old browser click the tool wrench - go to book marks a new drop down will show - go to import bookmarks which by the way is the new name for favorites. After your import is done you can rename bookmar |
