Chrome support for 2.2 and 2.3 Ex droid user 7/3/12 1:35 PM So...No love for the loyal Android users if you have a slightly older phone. You cant upgrade a 1 year old phone to Ice Creams Sandwich, you cant get the Chrome Browser for anything later than 4.0? Seriously??? People can talk smack all they want abo
Re: Chrome support for 2.2 and 2.3 david.king 7/3/12 3:17 PM Chrome is only available on Android 4.0 because there are platform features it depends on, such as hardware acceleration, that were not available in previous versions of Android.
Re: Chrome support for 2.2 and 2.3 ropot 7/5/12 8:18 AM This is amazing since during the whole 'beta' timespan, the chrome Beta was available on the 2.3.5. Guess I'll be switching to Firefox.(and at the end of my cellphone commitment to iphone) I agree with the first post here, this is getting ridiculous.
Re: Chrome support for 2.2 and 2.3 Mills Nolan 9/20/12 12:33 AM I can't agree more. You are just saying exactly what i want to say. It's unfair for those who has a slightly older phone with an old android version.
