| Re: Getting "Update server not available: (error: 11)" on 'About' screen | jrivero | 4/20/10 6:22 AM | I think the problem comes from the folder where you have installed. I had a chrome internet folder inside, and so did not work. Try move chrome to root application folder if it is so |

| Re: Getting "Update server not available: (error: 11)" on 'About' screen | Brett C. | 5/25/10 4:47 PM | I solved this by putting the dev channel version of Chrome in /Applications and the beta channel version in ~/Applications. Not sure why it needs to be that way, but I have not had any update issues since doing this. |

I'm currently on osx 10.6.34 and chrome 5.0.375.125. Have just deleted and reinstalled this version: no joy / no solution. How do the Google devs scan for problems to solve? I have never seen an official reaction |

| Re: Getting "Update server not available: (error: 11)" on 'About' screen | devinrhode2 | 4/23/12 11:54 AM | OMG Thank you! The first command *probably will not work* and if you open that folder up, you won't see anything there. Run the 2nd sudo command and you should be set!
