Google talk stand alone windows client crashing clive4911 5/16/12 10:57 PM Hi KeithR, great to see that they fixed the network layer problem but now some of my contacts stand alone clients are crashing (as before they don't crash in a vpn or within the local network). Re: Google talk stand alone windows client crashing KeithR 5/18/12 2:07 AM My first thought would be conflict with other software on the system, particularly since XP had some major updates pushed in the last week and that Google talk doesn't appear to have changed.  However, I have no ideas on how to improve the situation
