I recently had all of my videos randomly become unometized, well the ones that were. So one by one by one I redid the ones that were, and all but one was easily monetized again.
But this one is one of my best videos in terms of views and effort/time spent on it. It is a stop motion video to a song I created. The song has no words and is COMPLETELY created by myself. There is nothing copyright about it at all. I obeyed all the rules of what qualifies as copyright according to the software I used and sent that webpage to Youtube when filling out my "Claim Rights to your Video," form for that video. This video had been monetized previously for 6 months. I never got a strike or warning about copyright infridgment, because I'm very cautious about what I monetize and don't monetize. Everything I have monetization on is completely my own creation down to every aspect.
I sent in this "Claim Rights," about 5 or 6 days ago, but still have recieved no notice of whether or not they actually have taken to time to realize I own everything. The video still has the monetization button missing next to it too.
I know they are busy and stuff, but I've heard a few others say that their videos got immediate responses or the buttons immediately reappeared.
So I tried posting on here to see if anyone could help (in the partner forum) a few times, but no one ever responded. Can anyone please help me out here. All this copyright stuff is so frustrating. |
