Hi - I am dealing with this right now.  YouTube allowed monetization on my videos a couple of days ago, but has denied monetization on five of my videos produced entirely by me, a couple have original music that I paid a composer to do!  A couple of the videos are simple homemade videos of a wildlife rescue in which I participated, with no copyright infringment whatsoever - in fact, it is a four part video and they ALLOW parts three and four to be monetized!

I sent them emails stating these facts and have received no response so far.
