it now all seems to be coming to light what all these crappy updates are about, although i've not heard anything from YT/Google themselves. They have a $100m overhaul of the site planned where they plan to move into the television streaming market buffing up partners and including some of their own created garbage. Personally i see this as a good thing for us, we won't like it for sure (the market currently only really exists in the US) so hopefully the final result will mean a viable competitor will rise that we can all move our independent movies to :D
