Dear Youtube,

Regularly I would never post on a forum like this. But seriously. This is nuts. I've never had trouble with your website until recently, when the option between the new twit-style layout and the old one disappeared.

I am a frequent user and guaranteed to be in one of your key demographics, as I use the website for more than hours and hours of viewing a week.

Personally, my greatest loss is having to sift through my subscriptions and not being able to see my recommended videos. As much as I love some of my subscriptions, it's hard to tell whether anything is of good quality when it's "that fresh" (if that makes any sense.) I prefer to be one of those that views a video after 1,000 people with similar taste have viewed it and have decided it's not rubbish. Personally, I've never given a rat's bum about the trending either, but at least the layout was in a place where I didn't have to look at it if I wasn't interested.

Anyway, I doubt if this will ever be seen, but if you could give your users a bit more flexibility, and perhaps the ability to filter or control such things, it would be appreciated. Right now, I'm considering dropping a bunch of my subscriptions so that I don't have to look at them on such a 'timely' basis.
