I'm going to have to reference this a few times before I understand it since I don't have Google+.

But as an update, I was able to create the YouTube Channel user name and now it appears that I am able to post comments, which I tried one from the OP link and it is pending for approval now.

Now, I'm not sure if I should create separate threads or not for this, but I was wondering if any of you know how to:

1) Have an e-mail reminder sent if you know the user name but not the e-mail you signed up with YouTube.  I remember I made a user name several years ago, but haven't logged into it for a long time, so I forgot the e-mail that's associated to it and the password, but I know the user name, and their link to recover only asks for if you know the e-mail address.  Anyone know a way around that?

2) How do you search by comments or by user name to look through a history of either of them on YouTube?

3) Is it possible to change your Channel user name once you create one at some later time?
