David Boyle,
YouTube is obviously missing something. These are not inactive subscriptions being deleted. I woke up to at least 40 more subscribers removed over night. I've been closely monitoring my account. I know for sure that something very strange is going on. There is no way this is normal: http://vidstatsx.com/thecreativeone/youtube-channel
Chris lost 355 subscribers in just one day. Not to speak for Chris, but even I know this is incorrect. A large decrease such as that is unheard of.
This is a serious problem that is affecting legit accounts. I wouldn't be posting on these forums if I didn't think it is something worth looking into. I appreciate the fact that you are replying, but I honestly do think YouTube is overlooking something. For example, check out my related Facebook discussion: http://www.facebook.com/daviddifranco/posts/269464386483666
A viewer of mine named Tiffany Endicott is claiming to be unsubscribed, and she is only one of many that has come to me in recent time. I'm just not even sure what to do anymore... I know several other YouTubers are concerned, so the least YouTube can do is publish a short blog post explaining everything. With all due respect, we shouldn't have to come to forums begging for answers.
With all that said, would you mind bringing this discussion to someone else's attention? While I greatly respect your participation, I would like to hear a second opinion.
Thank you. |
