Perhaps that is the reason for it.
But in fairness to Stefan- he didn't send the OP here to get it done, he only stated that they, Google, can. Google only stated that this is the place to get answers. So it is the OP who is actually going to need to appreciate that the answers you and I provided ARE the answers Google stated might be possible to obtain from here, an user to user forum.
The actioning of something we were all told was not possible can only be done by A) someone in the correct department at Google (who we, TCs, do NOT have access to) and B) someone who knows it is possible, in stark contradiction with what we (TCs and experts alike) were told (ie that it was not possible and to tell the users as much).
Often times it is a case of "one [Google] hand not knowing what the other [Google] hand is doing". Sad but true and it does make the life of the user a lot more difficult if they are unable to see beyond their misinterpretation of the written word and unwillingness to be told that they cannot be helped. I mean- who DOES like that? ;) |
