I created a Google account just to voice my gripes here! My actual YouTube account is held aside, and, though I've been stalling the mater by just trashing all the confirmation mails for a Google account whenever I log in, I reckon that sooner or later the requirement will impose itself more forcefully from YouTube.. I was happy with my YouTube account as it was, and suddenly I have to use Google just to sign in... The principle is despicable, and I will hold it against Google in all areas of technology.
