ok.  i've just read many of these complaints and my choice is clear.  i'm dumping the gmail account (which i never wanted to have in the first place) and killing off greennleafy2.  the original greennleafy account, which i had for years, died in the enforced linking process.  it had a long list of favorites that i briefly considered trying to recreate in greennleafy2.  but youtube is so screwed up now, it's pathetic.  apparently, my refusal to give google a mass of personal information about myself, including a cell phone number, is at the root of the current problems, eg., can't add to favorites, can't comment, can't rate.  i thought this was just a bug or glitch of some sort, but it turns out to be part of this nasty control thing they're into.  i don't know what's going on with these people, but i've had enough.
