YouTube may already have several categories, however without fine arts the YouTube and Google logos would never have been designed. Trust me on this one, I'm a design student.
Like many on here have said, the artists on YouTube are being pushed aside, and mixed into this sort of "surprise soup" if you will. I agree that we need our own category. Fine arts is a humungous influence on the modern world. If musicians have their own category, then why not visual/graphic artists?
