I strongly agree that YouTube needs a Visual Art category!
Just like everything in this world, no one or anything wants to be clump together with something that has nothing to do with. It's the same with us when we want to express out self, it's way easier for us when we are surrounded by a common interests, which is why we need a Visual Art category for the artists that want to show their art to other artists or anyone that is interested. When people want to go see or watch an art related videos, don't you think it would be confusing to figure out how to look for those videos, if you didn't search something specifically, it's most likely that you won't find anything. However if you go to a specific category and you weren't looking for any art videos, but do find them, wouldn't you think "why is this video under this category?" Well we can't say anything other than, "there is no other place to place these videos under." It would just make it easier for everyone, and it would get everyone that loves art a lot closer. |
