Hey all,
About posts being moved around or removed, I'll answer what I can right now.
Some of these posts were redirected to other posts, either due to error on our part or technical issues - the one AntiPornographyBlog linked above shouldn't be redirected here, but unfortunately I can't reverse the redirection. The "old or new" thread moving directly to Archive is being moved automatically. I'll see what could be causing that. It could be due to the repetitiveness of the posts being auto-detected as spam, or it could just be a bug.
As general advice based on some of the posts I've seen, I wouldn't recommend you start distributing email addresses for support channels or fax/mailing addresses for Google offices as ways to get your feedback to us. First off, these are often NOT channels for feedback: support aliases are for staff to help people with real technical issues, putting feedback there will make it harder for staff to help others in those queues, as they can be quite busy and time is valuable.
Similarly, mailing addresses for Google offices aren't appropriate channels either. If you want to speak to someone at Google directly, you can speak to those of us in the forum. We'll roll up your feedback to the appropriate parties.
I've seen lots of people who post the same links to the same threads or large lists of bold text all over the forum to draw attention or traffic to their threads - this can be considered spam. You're free to make posts protesting changes if you do it in a reasonable and orderly way, but don't post it multiple times in multiple threads, even if it relates to the OP. If the content already exists somewhere else, don't post it again. You'll avoid getting your threads taken down if you follow that rule of thumb and make sure that the content of your threads is appropriate.
Lastly, now that I've addressed some of the questions about threads being moved, let's keep discussion in here about the Homepage features, please. I understand that I started the line of inquiry so the posts in reply to that question in this thread are perfectly fine and I won't moderate them (other off-topic or inappropriate posts, I have), but since we've touched on it now, I'd like the thread to get back on-topic.
