The 'Load more' button is a workaround, no denying that. What is being forgotten is that this workaround was created when the Channel Player allowed the viewer to remain on-channel to browse the channel while playing a video. The 'Load more' button becomes much more problematic under the new design where clicking a channel's video takes the viewer off-channel, because place is not remembered and cannot be restored by clicking the Back button to return to channel. Thus, proper function of the 'Load more' button depends on the Channel Player, which the new design doesn't use. Instead, under the new design the viewer is taken off-channel when a video is clicked, and, consequently, place is lost when viewer returns to channel. Upon returning to channel, viewer is obliged to perform the tedium of advancing through 'Load more' increments to find original place in the queue. The Channel Player was one of the better features of the old design, and it needs to be retained in order for the 'Load more' workaround to be usable.
