Again ... read his response. Yes ... I've been asked last year for copies showing that the listed sources of royality free product was actually purchased by myself. Which I've done. Each posted video gets a list of products used, the specific item used ... it's fully referenced. If you'll read back through some of these posts it's not just me but as of Nov 2011 videos posted DO NOT get reviewed. And yes I think that Felipe's response below was saying just what it said, if we don't monetize it ... we might just remove it. Not if it's in violation of copyrights we'll remove it ... just "hey it's our choice and we could remove it". Since I've asked him or someone at that email address for updates once a week, I'm pretty sure it's a way of saying "don't continue to ask or we'll remove it. Like I said at this point I really don't care. I've created videos. I've used only royality free product or product I've fully created being very careful not to cross over anyone's copyrighted material. I've documented what I've used. I've made sure to prove I owned my material or had permission to use it. When you inquire, all you get are links that 9 times out of 10 are not related to the inquiry. So when I got this response ... while it can be argued that I'm a bit overly sensitive at this point ... I basically give up. It's their house, their rules ... I just wish there was a consistency to them. : Hi Michael, Thank you for providing us with additional information about your claim. Please note that we reserve the right to not enable monetization on a video. Videos which YouTube rejects for monetization may be removed from the YouTube site. Sincerely, Felipe The YouTube Team |
