Why do comments, that plainly are not spam, keep getting flagged as spam?

Ok I admit it, I am a troll. I troll YouTube videos that have been hijacked by obnoxious individuals who deny the Holocaust happened and refute their arguments using history and science. What I cannot understand is how, as described above, YouTube censures sensible comments by flagging them as spam. According to the YouTube Safety Centre,
"Spam is content that uses misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails in order to trick you into watching it. Most of the time this shows up on YouTube as massively posted messages that try to direct you to other sites."
If a comment does NONE of these then why is it spam? It seems to me that this is allowing user-censorship by default and goes against the principle of free-speech.
