Hi Liz, When signing up for a youtube account while still signed into gmail, I was asked to enter my age. I mistakenly entered 2011 as the year of my birth (I'm >30). I was then given the whole 'your account will be disabled' screen. My computer died shortly thereafter, so I wasn't able to read everything on the screen, but I did note that I had a 30 day grace period to submit a credit card/gov docs fax.
Looking around on the forums suggested that I wouldn't be able to log in during that grace period, but I am still able to log in to all my accounts. Does that mean that I do not need to go through the age verification process? Or do I still need to do that?
TL;DR - I entered the wrong birthday when signing up for youtube. It gave me the ominous 'you have 30 days until your accounts are deleted'. I'm still able to log in to gmail, google+ and youtube (and was able to create a new youtube channel). So do I still need to verify my age with the credit card method?
