Where does it say when I tell it to? It says whatever the camera SEES, and that lens could be seeing all the time for all I know. It sounds non-threatening to you but not to me. So please explain to me where it says it doesn't record without permission; cause I fail to see that stipulation. I would also note that this permission was not requested on my smartphone update - only on the tablet - like they knew it wouldn't fly on the phone so they would try it out on the tablet and gauge reaction. It's the same with google maps; did you notice its latest update wants access to your microphone for audio? What the hell has that to do with a map app?
