When I sign in to my YouTube account, I must sometimes jump through the hoop of skipping the step of associating my cell phone number with the account. When I go through this irksome reminder, I usually get an error page full of brown computer monitors claiming that my log in failed. If I return to the sign in page and repeat the login, I will likely get this error page again. However, if I refresh the page and maybe use a bookmark to land on a channel page, I find that I am successfully logged in, and there are no further problems. It would be nothing short of despicable if coders have intentionally produced this glitch in order to scare users into associating cell numbers with channels.
