The new design is absolutely terrible and I hope to god that they're not gonna force this on everyone. The list of things wrong with it is endless. Channels no longer seem unique, they all look the same. It seems such a chore to look through everything on the channel. They've lost the add as friend option and you can no longer watch video on someones channel page. Also what's up with hiding the channel comments away. The way it was set out before was brilliant. You could see channel comments, channel favourites, uploads and playlists all easily.

 

The sad thing is I bet people comlained before about the old layout and Youtube will just think "Well they'll just get used to this new design too". From the feedback on here it seems like it's mostly getting negative feedback, but I bet Youtube just go ahead and make it compulsory anyway. They never listen to it's users and the fact that they've asked for peoples opinions is laughable.
