I don't necessarily like the new layout, but since Google doesn't listen to the users anyway when they tell them NOT to change things, it looks like I'll have to get used to it. I will say overall the update's not as bad as some people say it is - at least the homepage layout's not as cluttered and ugly as the previous layout was anymore. As for the channel layouts, they do have one good aspect - I get more emphasis on videos, and all of the comments/bulletins are organized in their own tabs, making things less cluttered, which I do like. Too bad that increased functionality is at the cost of personalization, and NO, Google, having four templates is NOT enough personalization when previous updates allowed us to add color to our channels.

Some suggestions if Google even cares what a peon like me thinks:

- You need to bring the transparency feature back, with an interval of how much or little can be chosen. I really liked that I could see the background through my channel boxes
- I want the colors back. Four templates does NOT provide the same personalization options that my old channel layout can give, and since my channel's background is primarily black, that means any color I have has to come from the channel info boxes. I know I'm not the only Youtuber who wants this, and this, in my opinion, is the BIGGEST FAILING of Cosmic Panda and of the new layout.
- Have two separate boxes for Channel Comments and Bulletins. Why do they need to be in a drop-down menu? They're the only two things on the Feeds tab! Why not put one in the box, then have a divider and put the other one below it? This is not good website design, this is a child trying to play around with My First CSS Kit.
