I like the streamlined layout but I have two things to say.

One, backgrounds are broken in the new design.  I cant any BG to show up after i hit the save button when I'm done editing my channel.

Two, YouTube hosts a large community of artists.  By taking away the gross number of customisation tools we had, you've more or less told us social connectivity takes priority over our creativity and expressing ourselves.

I think we're headed in the right direction, but DON'T revoke (or severely restrict) our customization tools.  That's like ripping out half the bristles from a painters brush.
