I kinda like the new layout.  Ever since YT Philippines was intro'ed a few months ago, all I see in my Homepage are trending videos from the Philippines.  Not that I don't like seeing them, but I want to see trending/viral videos worldwide.  So now with the new layout, at least I can easily select the worldwide button.
