If you are trying to kill the YouTube community, you are doing a great job with these new channels.

Subscriber lists, friend lists, channel comments ... where are these things? They are an important way in which YouTube communities interact and find other channels with similar interests. It's how I generally find new channels and interact with users with similar channels. Making these features less visible or removing them is a dagger through the YouTube community. I see no "community" in the new pages whatsoever. They look lifeless, generic, and impersonal. Something you'd find on a purely commercial site like Hulu, not a page like YouTube that is supposed to have a "community" aspect.

And despite what is being claimed, these seem to be a whole lot *less* customizable than the current ones, with very actual ability to make your channel look unique - it looks like the only color we can change is the background color, really? And the physical layout itself is inferior to the current one. Or, in brief: the new channels suck and are inferior to the current ones in pretty much every aspect.

Google, please fire the designers who think these new channels are actual improvements.
