The new layout is TERRIBLE!  There's no community interaction, it's confusing, and there's no customization!  You can't choose where things are, can't choose the foreground colors, and can't even make a description over 1000 characters.  The biggest problem I always had with YouTube was that they need more customization; now they're taking almost all of it away!  If this layout becomes default, I might even quit YouTube once and for all.
