I haven't time to look through all of these comments, so my point may have been made already, but here's my take. I quite like the new design, particularly the larger-sizes thumbs to my uploaded videos, and I know i can show favourites  or playlists instead.
Unlike the old design, I could arrange uploads to show on the channel, in the order which I chose; these are in a small scrolling box to the right of channel page: in other words, if I wished to show large viewcount vids uploaded three years ago, I  could do, but not with the new design. Unfortunately, one seems to be unable to see anything but the recently uploaded vids now with no means to change that. I have also noticed that clickable links to my photo-albums site and others are no longer clickable, though I haven't yet experimented with a provided box for those links, just noticed that my links are in situ but not clickable. I should like to see the channel comments which have disappeared with the new design. Also, I cannot give as much info in the personal section as I could before; I get a message telling me that I cannot go over 1,000 words/characters.
I have noticed that switching back from the new design to the old one seems to have affected my viewcounts: most videos have not updated since I switched back, over 24 hours ago.
A good effort, but more needs to be done to iron-out glitches and give back some of the things missing from the new design.
