Reuse Stream Settings

We are a church trying to use YouTube Live to stream our services. We have a NewTek TriCaster to stream with.

This service works great except that every service we want to stream we have to go through the process of setting up the stream on YouTube, then importing those settings into our TriCaster, then hitting "broadcast" then starting the stream on on our TriCaster.

It would be nice if there was a way to reuse the same stream settings over and over again so we're not constantly have to make a new stream profile every time on YouTube.

For one thing, live services are all run by volunteers and different ones each time so having to train people how to create this stream, load it, etc, or making myself available to do it every time is cumbersome.

Also, if we want to embed the stream on our website, there is no one video to embed, instead it changes each time. I've actually worked around that problem by creating a playlist and embedding that and just adding and removing the live streams from that play list as i create them.

I was thinking about the possibility of creating a stream, starting it to broadcast and then just leaving it on indefinitely (while turning the stream on and off on our TriCaster as needed, but I don't if that's a feasible solution or if that would cause problems with my account (having a stream that's broadcasting but for days at a time there is no feed going to it).

Any feedback or suggestions are welcome.
