Just spent $2500 on the new lg smart tv. It has an ugly youtube app that plays random and somtimes innapropriate videos automatically when you open it. The search is limited and you cant log in, save favorites, or see related videos or any features you are used to from the website. To add to the frustration, if you try to view youtube.com (or allmost any popular website) the smart tv web browser feature can only view content using flash 8 or below. most websites including youtube use flash 9 or 10. LG TECH SUPPORT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTENT. LG could not tell me if they plan to update the web browser software. ever. Steer clear of these so called lg "SMART TV' devices. If, like me you have already thrown your money away, please contribute to the discussions and request updates. SMART TV? NOT SO SMART.
