To respond to the Title of this feed...WHY?  Was this becoming a problem for people, or YouTube engineers trying to find something else to do to piss people off?

Aren't you people supposed to be taking a survey before you force the community to accept your goofy changes that no one wants? 

I don't get it.  When it's broke, fix it...if everyone loves the way it was, don't touch it.  Fire your staff, and you can sit by the phone...if it rings.
