I am also submitting my grief over this switch to the archaic and generic mobile version of iGoogle for iPhone users. Google, if it hasn't already become evident to you by the blogs, diggs, and forum cries across the net, this switch was a horrible decision.
The next smart move to make would be to switch the iPhone users back to the original system that worked so well, or present a "new and improved" alternative. If it will take time, then at least announce something about how you are aware of the issue and will be presenting an improvement so you can quell the people yelling about google behaving like an evil corporation.
Seriously guys, come on.
