This is a small (but obvious) issue with Google doodles. I live in Japan, but my Japanese isn't amazing so I prefer to use Google in my native language, English. Whenever I visit www.google.com it redirects to www.google.co.jp. That's fine and normal, so when I want to search in English I usually type in www.google.com/ncr for no country restriction. That changes everything to English EXCEPT the Google doodle mouse-over text and the related search once you click on it. (See image for visual explanation). There was a post about this back in September two years ago... can we get a fix?
