I think with the growing number of people at the Best answers  poll is more than enough proof of you ignorance.
The fact is that google does depend on sitemaps to index and there is so much contradiction. Considering the fact that I too waited and waited with 0 indexing and even with a sitemap it was. I finally figured out that adding www. to each url in the sitemap instantly 6of6 indexed and things started to improve. But then I added 2 more pages and it dropped to 4. I tested with the old one that got 6of6 and it dropped to 3. . Also I seen 1 time and one time only gwt show me an error on a site map and it was going from the dashboard clicking on the sitemap. Th But again even with that site map I have never seen the error info again. So as far as I'm concerned get is not working as good as it should. People ask the question because it hard to figure out another name to please you and the fact is it the commercial attitude of we have not clue as to why and give lame excuses.  Anyway those are enough if google realy wants to help like they claim should be looked into. The takes time is not the answer . There is something wrong and needs fixed.
@Autocrat if this was irc I can guarantee /ingnore would have been used 49 time now :). with those problems there itmakes it quite clear that its not just wait . things need to be fixed. every where I tried to make the sitemap all did it with out the www.  adding it helped right away but there are still the issues of indexing being dropped and same sitemap that worked then it doesn't . Thats a google problem that needs fixed.  The contradiction of dupe I've read and seen the video and what we read says 2 different things. 1) some CAN"T be AVOIDED and at some point it must be avoided , 2) sitemap with out www added 0 indexed change it with www and instant 6of6 and then as I said before 2 url added and it dropped to 4 . then bring back the what was good one and it dropped more. 3 The fact is no indexing and your site is way way down the line . so it is something we need.  5)I have a site that has not much content and its doing better with the indexing . its mostly all graphics with the words in the images. 6) people have read the FAQand some haven't but you ignorant to think ALL haven't. The fact is they do not cover everything and its all about the same thing weather you like it or not index (which is a big part of where  you site with end up. page 100 or pages 1-10 thats a fact .
Anyway any of you that have a site map you made at the host you are using and think about trying to make sure its all in sync .Its a waste of time. or it was for me. gwt open up 2 non-www and one with and see the difference make sure you do pick the preferred url but if your sitemap is non-www and you have 0 for indexed try editing the site map and add www. . Just the more I had done of the FAQ and watch the videos the worse it gets. and I'm sure the other 51 people on this thread feel the same .
