Pokermaniac, I'm not voting your post helpful for what it says - but for what it implies. I understand that most of you are decent people, honestly trying to earn some money on the internet. Now let me be frank:
>>> few months or weeks to bring it back?
If you're really eager to do some serious business online - say goodbye to scammy freehosters (I might as well say, say goodbye to online poker, if that's what you're in ^^), dubious affiliate schemes, and the like.
I mean, everybody running a blog or a site for a while, must have quite a considerable knowledge of how things work on the internet. Apply that knowledge to do something really useful. There's a need for local news for instance, I've always been annoyed by blogs that regurgitate global mobile phone "news", or automobile "news" or bollywood "news" the thousandth time, instead of writing interesting, vivid accounts of what happens in their neighbourhood ... Why not try out something new, surprising about what each of you personally see in real life? I bet many of you could make an impact (that pays!) by finding new, interesting topics instead of merely copying what other sites, larger than yours, are into for years.
