Technically speaking, Google isn't starting to act like communists, rather they're finally following a better capitalistic business model by listening to their customers desires.

Once again, the sites are still on the net, they're just no longer in the search results.
If your site is so incredibly valuable and worthwhile, I'm certain it has garnered enough back-linking and direct traffic to make Google's search traffic almost unnecessary.
