First - I'd like to thank those that helped me with the stuff I needed to fix.
Pub you're funny as all get out. Barrack too.
This is a forum where I think we're all free to state our thoughts on things.
Personally I kinda think that the changes that Google brings out - that are all secretive are just another month in waiting before people figure out how to beat them. So it'll be back to the same old thing. Until a NEW search round up TYPE is found - it'll all be old hat.
The model of the current search engine is the same EVERYWHERE - until a new model is made - then it will remain a heap of sites being found - based on SEO writers, workers and linkers.
I like Google - see... I think they're the killer business and I truly wish I'd figured it out before they did and had implemented it.
The only thing I would do different than they are - would be that I would teach people how to become the best - by using my tools - and I would actually have teams viewing sites randomly for the top 20 in major categories - and I would make those teams responsible for spam deletion. NOT a MACHINE.
I would make it a PEOPLE company
And I would remind myself that I'm responsible for the economy for many people who rely on the products or services I provide... And in turn those people will be responsible for keeping me up in funding and more.
There are people behind all the websites - who have worked hard. Since Google put itself in the position to be the leader and expert - it must remember the people that make the work - that allow it to be the leader.
Like a ruler - the people can unite and bring it down - if they chose to do so.
If the ruler is benevolent and works with the people - then the people will remain content.
Someone said Google is Free... It is NOT free. There are literally thousands of hours of work into creating a business online - and blood, sweat and tears. It is - without a doubt the new economy.
Consideration for that should be implemented.
Google is VERY powerful - power should be wielded with temperance and gentleness or else it becomes something none of us would care to see happen.
For all of the websites that have been hit supremely hard on this algorithm - I'm so very sorry - I wish you luck and lots of red bull for the hours and time it will take you to figure out how to fix the results back into your favor.
For those websites that bumped to the top - I say - congrats - stay there if you can. |
