"According to our metrics, this update improves overall search quality." You could have fooled me. I'm finding more and more examples of junk sites appearing on top of high-quality sites. The search: when is st patrick's day 1st result: Thin content, pop-ups, poor user experience, keyword stuffing, ads on top of ads above the fold to boot. This type of site should be easy to detect as junk algorithmically. Same search on bing.com and the higher quality sites were actually ranked higher, go figure. No wonder our site and other high quality sites have been affected by this update.
