Hello Wysz,
Thanks for this opportunity! My site is My3cents.com. A consumer review site I started almost 11 years ago. We lost about 50% of our Google traffic from this update.
We have always taken pride in the fact that we were a quality site in a niche crowded with scrapers and content farmers. Most of our competitors in our niche are un-moderated sites just looking to grow their content as fast as possible to catch as many flies in their web so to speak. We take a different approach. We have a team of moderators helping keep our site clean, we have hundreds of power users that monitor and report bad content, spam, etc. We have hundreds of companies that have joined our site to interact with consumers. Sears, Home Depot, Maytag/Whirlpool, Expedia, Orbitz and many more all use our company tools daily to interact with consumers and solve problems.
A report was published recently by a top consumer agency (Consumer Federation of America). They studied the top consumer complaint sites and recommended our site to consumers for our organization and user-friendly interface:

http://www.consumerfed.org/elements/www.consumerfed.org/File/Complaint_Website_Report2010.pdf
Quoted from the report:
"We recommend that shoppers first consult my3cents.com, which not only apparently contains the largest number of recent complaints but also lists the number of comments per company, offers information about complaint resolution, and is organized in a user-friendly way."
We do not copy content, we are not a content farm. We remove about 15% of all the content that gets submitted to our site through moderation, filters and quality controls we have built in place over the years. We take pride in quality and would like to respectfully ask for you to review our site.
Thank you for your time!
Regards,
Max |
