Beginning this afternoon, my site and full time job - CreditCardForum.com - took a hit of more than 50% in traffic. I am shocked as my site has slowly grown month over month since building it from scratch in 2008. I literally spend all my time writing thoroughly, well researched posts (often times more than 1,000 words each, like today's post). I prided myself in the quality, users would compliment it's the total opposite of the content mills which would rank side by side my in the search results. I completely respect and understand Google's need for this change but I believe some sites such as mine have been hit in error. Also, I personally know the person above me (Craig at MoneyHelpForChristians.com) and his site is also top quality stuff. I am at a loss of words right now of what to do, this website is my full time job.
